Hierarchy of Needs
CareCubed users are encouraged to consider the appropriate level of care needed when sourcing placements. To facilitate this, we have developed the CareCubed Hierarchy of Need pyramid – a framework which guides users through a systematic approach to ensure that less intensive levels of support, which promote independence and autonomy are considered before more costly intensive support options are commissioned. The pyramid also helps to identify those needs which can be met by core or background support and examine how more intensive support can be delivered with the most appropriate intensity and frequency. This is particularly helpful in building understanding of how people with complex needs, such as highly challenging behaviours, are supported.
Onboarding
CareCubed is provided on a software-as-a-service basis and accessed directly via the browser, and supports all mainstream browsers including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Safari.
Upon receiving confirmation of a customer order, we will grant you access to CareCubed for a Primary User/System Administrator who can then add and manage other users access to the system.
A kick-off meeting is then setup to discuss the specific challenges faced by the customer, and the expected outcomes from using CareCubed. This meeting will also include project planning and clarification of the implementation support that is available for the customer to use. For example, consultancy, training and the online CareCubed Community.
Review meetings will be scheduled to check on progress during the implementation and then on an ongoing basis with your Account Manager to ensure each customer continues to benefit from CareCubed.
Support
At CareCubed, our main goal is to make sure you’re fully supported.
We have a dedicated Helpdesk which monitors our customer query form, the most direct route to getting a speedy response to your query or concern within one business day.
Our Helpdesk is available 09:00-17:00 Monday-Friday (excluding bank holidays).
Customers will also be allocated an Account Manager who will manage the business relationship and contract.
The CareCubed Charter
The CareCubed Charter aims to act as a protocol for users and sets the expected behaviour for both parties.
It is hoped that by actively applying the principles within the charter, commissioners and providers are more likely to build trust and mutual respect, achieve a better balance of risk and streamline the negotiation process.
The overarching aim of signing up to the charter is to ensure positive outcomes are achieved for people who rely on care and support services, through the effective use of resources and with providers and commissioners working as partners.
“The charter aims to make it clear that working collaboratively and transparently is in the best interests of providers and commissioners alike. We coined the term ‘fair price, fair care’ and having a charter is about wanting to articulate what it means to be a good provider and a good commissioner.” Dr Andrew Larner, Chief Executive at iESE.
We invite all local authorities and care providers to sign-up to the principles outlined in the charter.
