This March CareCubed will release its latest Data Version for its Cost of Care platform.

Data Version 22 brings a series of updates across the CareCubed Benchmarks. These benchmarks are reviewed twice-annually to ensure that it continues to provide an excellent basis for the negotiation of care packages. This update included the following changes

  • Hourly rates updated and compliant with National Living Wage changes and Real Living Wage where applicable
  • On costs updated in line with revised hourly rates and HMRC (HM Revenue & Customs) published rates for employer NI contributions and pension
  • Cover costs updated and compliant with Oliver McGowan training requirements where applicable
  • Non-staff costs updated in line with inflation
  • Property prices updated in line with Land Registry/Registers of Scotland data

There are also several functional changes which have been included in this update. Including:

  • User Interface
    • A new login page, portal and colour refresh will be introduced
    • Colour preferences will be available to select from blue, green or purple
  • Core night support
    • Core night support will be moved to the provider details page and added to the address book template for storing
    • Dedicated night support will still be entered in the needs page
  • New apprenticeship levy on-cost added
    • Unused apprenticeship levy funds can be detailed by revising this on-cost line
  • Building maintenance for rented properties in Children’s cases will default to included
  • Option to share managers between Children’s homes
