iESE CIC, the not-for-profit behind the market leading care costing tool CareCubed, is proud to announce the launch of its new brokerage platform – a game changing digital solution designed to radically improve the way councils commission social care.
Developed in close partnership with local authorities, the platform delivers significant benefits across the commissioning cycle. From streamlining referrals to enhancing provider engagement and performance reporting, it’s built to save time, reduce friction, and enable smarter commissioning decisions.
Speaking on the need for the Brokerage solution, Sherif Attia Director of Delivery & Design at iESE said;
“Brokerage and commissioning teams are under immense strain,” said Sherif Attia, Executive Director of Delivery & Design at iESE. “They’re juggling increasing demand, complex cases, and a fragmented provider market. We’ve worked hand-in-hand with frontline staff to design a solution that meets their needs and makes their work easier, not harder.”
“Every feature in this platform exists because a real team told us they needed it. This isn’t just a tool for brokerage — it’s a system designed to support the full commissioning cycle. Whether you’re shaping the market, managing demand, or tracking outcomes, this platform brings clarity and efficiency”
The new platform incorporates sector-wide feedback and is built around clear design principles to enable commissioning authorities and providers to operate as they truly want – with technology that supports change rather than creating barriers. The platform was shaped to meet clear goals, including:
- Configurable – flexible enough to support desirable business processes without the constant need for developers.
- Affordable – priced with the realities of the sector in mind, at a time when every pound counts/matters.
- Open – designed to enable seamless data flows in and out of the platform
- Data-driven – crafted to deliver tactical results but also answer big strategic questions.
One of the partners at the heart of the development was Surrey County Council. Commenting on the product Jeremy Taylor, Head of Contract & Commissioning Support Service at Surrey County Council said;
“When Surrey County Council explored the market for a brokerage sourcing solution that met our specific needs, we had clear criteria: it had to be configurable by our teams, cost-effective, efficiency-driving, and data-rich to support strategic decision-making. Unfortunately, no existing solution fully met these requirements—then or the future evolving landscape of health and social care.”
“As we approach the ‘go live’ phase, there’s a real sense of excitement and confidence across all involved teams. We believe this technology will enable us to deliver the best possible services to our residents, in close collaboration with our care providers.”
Craig White, Commercial Director at iESE commented;
“It has been a year of significant achievement and change for the whole of the iESE Group, and the new brokerage tool was something that our customers and the wider sector has been calling out for. I am pleased that our new Brokerage platform is now available for adults and children’s services and the wide range of types of provision offered. This is logical next step for us as a business and a unique solution which will embed the market-leading CareCubed cost of care tool into the brokerage process. I look forward to working with a few trailblazing authorities to demonstrate the benefits the platform will deliver. If you are considering brokerage options, please get in touch.”
“iESE is always looking for ways to help improve public services, its core to our mission, and as a non-profit CIC we will seek to continue to invest in solutions that make real impact and bring about meaningful change for the whole of the Public Sector.”
The brokerage solution will be officially launched in Q4 of this calendar year, but interested authorities are encouraged to get in touch to learn more and become one of a limited number of early adopters that can be delivered this year. For demos, partnership opportunities or more information, interested parties are advised to visit the CareCubed website and contact the CareCubed Team to discuss the product further.
