CareCubed, the leading provider of Cost of Care solutions in the UK, have announced the release of Data Version 20 of its Cost of Care tool.
The update was released on the 11th March 2025 and includes the bi-annual update to the key benchmarking metrics that form the foundation of the CareCubed Solution, alongside new functionality upgrades and improvements for the platform.
In terms of Data, updates include:
- Hourly Rate Adjustments for Staff across Children’s, Adults and Older Persons care.
- Adjustments to the On-Costs of delivering care such as National Insurance and Pensions
- Adjustments to Non-Staff Costs such as transport and Broadband
- Adjustments to Property Prices
- Real Living Wage Adjustment including London-Specific Wages
- Children’s Care Specific Cost Adjustments including Hobbies and Clothing
- NOTE: Due to timings of external data releases 2025/26 Council Tax Rates are not yet available.
Functionality improvements in this release include:
- Enhanced Staffing Calculator including Customisable Staffing Mix and Dynamic Funding overview
- Enhanced Import Routine
- Funded Nursing Care
- Aggregated Weekly Cost for home on non-staff costs
- Ability to enter hours and minutes instead of just minutes
- Additional day/night length options
- Further Children’s and Adults care specific updates
Commenting on the changes, CareCubed Product Owner Lydia Wootton said:
