Implementation and Improvement Officer

Full time | REMOTE | OPERATIONS | £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience

We are currently looking for an Implementation & Improvement Officer to join our rapidly growing SaaS, not-for-profit organisation.  You will naturally love dealing with people, building relationships, proactively helping and training customers to meet their needs and deliver results within a timely manner.

You will have a good understanding of reality, resources, timing and practical considerations.  You will want to get tasks done, maintain a routine, honour commitments and deadlines, while ensuring that the right activity delivers tangible results.  Having a sense of belonging, creating trust with customers, you will have a strong desire to provide an outstanding professional service, with the highest operational standards.

The role

The Implementation and Innovation Officer plays a pivotal role working as part of a small team in the operational delivery of solutions for adult’s and children’s social care commissioning. The ideal candidate will be able to build rapport with Local Authorities, ICB’s and Care providers through trusted expertise, exceptional service and the successful implementation of our products and services. You will primarily be focused on delivering operational excellence, ensuring implementation projects are delivered within timescale and providing system, negotiation and best practice training and workshops both virtually and in person. We are keen for a problem solver, that is able to identify process or service efficiencies/improvements to maximise success and be able to measure and analysis success metrics. Research and development drive our innovation, meaning internal feedback to inform strategic improvements from your collaboration with partners to understand, respond and refine their needs is vital for enhancing satisfaction with our offering.

Key elements we are looking for: 

  • Social/customer centric whilst being analytical with an aptitude for learning.
  • Experience (ideally of CareCubed) public speaking and/or delivering training/coaching support to groups online or in-person.
  • A natural care and desire to drive positive change to public services, building collaborative relationships in a fast-paced environment, whilst having the capability and aspirations to do this at scale.

Essential: 

  • Experience in UK Local Government, Adults and/or Children’s Social Care, or Health with knowledge of social care commissioning processes.
  • Confident public speaker with strong presentation/training skills and able to share knowledge with energy and passion.
  • Experience with change management or software implementations, especially within social work teams, providing an outstanding service.
  • Confidence and experience using and navigating IT applications and software systems including MS 365 suit and an openness to expanding knowledge and tools used
  • Experience identifying opportunities to improve practice, product and services, nurturing organisational growth.
  • Exposed to supporting horizon scanning, research and development, and analysing data, looking at continuous opportunities to enhance and improve.
    Strong partner engagement, tenacious, self-motivated and enthused about providing an outstanding service.
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work both remotely and onsite with customers across the UK.

Desirable: 

  • Understanding of the current landscape for children’s and adult’s social care commissioning with social work/commissioning team experience for example placements/commissioning and use of brokerage/case management systems
  • Previous use of the CareCubed tool either in Health, Childrens or Adults Social Care
  • Ability to build rapport with customers leading to enhanced opportunity/revenue opportunities
  • Proven track record delivering successful training courses/workshops/keynotes and/or providing coaching support over teams and/or in-person.
  • Having subject matter expertise and thought leadership
  • Able to use data to measure and analyse key customer metrics and KPIs, providing feedback to inform strategic decisions and improvements.

The package 

  • Monday – Friday 0900 – 1700
  • Basic salary range: £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience
  • Bonus/commission: Based on agreed objectives
  • Initial 12-month contract
  • Six-month probationary period
